At The View™, we collect information necessary to provide you with a world-class video production experience. This includes:

• Account Information: Your email address and display name provided during sign-up.
• Media Assets: Video, audio, and image files you upload to our secure Firebase Storage for use in your projects.
• Project Data: Timeline arrangements, effect settings, and editing decisions stored in Firestore.
• Usage Data: Information on how you interact with our AI tools and rendering engine.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data strictly to facilitate the video editing process:

• To maintain your account and project history.
• To process AI requests (e.g., generating captions, syncing audio, or creating scenes). Your media is sent to Google Gemini/Vertex AI for processing but is not used to train global AI models.
• To render and export your final video files.

3. Payments and Security

All financial transactions are handled securely by Stripe. The View™ does not store or process your credit card details. We only receive confirmation of your subscription status and credit balance.

We utilize Firebase Authentication and Security Rules to ensure that only you can access your private media and projects.

4. Your Rights

You have the right to access, export, or delete your data at any time. Deleting your account will permanently remove all associated media files and projects from our servers.
